Clean water while camping or traveling can be a challenge. There are many microorganisms that can be harmful to your health. Now there is a portable ultraviolet water cleaner. It is the SteriPen JourneyLCD.
How does it work? I sends ultraviolet light into the clear water. This ultraviolet light damages the DNA of bacteria, viruses and protozoa like giardia and cryptosporidium. The damage prevents them from reproducing and creating havoc.
Does it work on all types of water? Yes and no. It works on clear water only. Discolored water will not work. Also the water should be clear of any debris. So filter your water first.
