Is it time for your smart house? Cost are coming down – now around $5000. But does it give you a return on your investment?
Well a completely wired smart house is a great way to live. You can program different moods, wake up calls/music. Same energy by controlling your heat and air conditioning, lights and other appliances. But are people willing to pay more for your home because it is a smart home?
Today with the economy being what it is, maybe not. However there are indications that the market is starting to pay attention to "Green" and a smart home is considered "Green" by many. Personally it is a great gadget. I would love to have one. But if the home cost more than a comparable home, I still would not pay extra for it.
