Welcome to this weeks edition of Baby Boomer Technology – Land Lines

Show Notes:

About 17% of American households have given up their land lines and rely entirely on their cell phones.  This same group has increased their cell phone usage by 40% but only an increase cost of 10% because much of it is already covered.  Single individuals save on average $33 per month.  Couples with two cell phones save around $26 per month.  Families with teenagers save less.

Are you giving up your land line?

You left out the "Need" for a land line required by such things as a Direct TV receiver or a TiVo receiver.
