Show Notes:

You have an accident and break your hip.  In the hospital you get a hip replacement.  After some rehabilitation, you can walk without pain.  You feel great and are thankful for the good surgical care.

You are just one of about 250,000 people in the U.S. that annually get a hip replacement.  Your new hip is good for about 15 years.  But you opted for the new ceramic hip which is good for a lot longer than just 15 years.

Shortly you discover that you are one of the unlucky 7%?? who develop a squeaky hip.  As you walk or climb stairs your hip squeaks.  Everyone around you can hear you coming.

Is this funny, a nuisance or a serious problem?  Most people who develop the problem says it's not funny and it is more than a nuisance.  Some have even opted to have another surgery to replace their new hip with a non-ceramic one.

What would you do?  Do you have this problem?  If so let us know your experiences.
