There is a pleasure center inside each of our brains.  This is where we experience the joy and happiness in our lives. It allows us to take pleasure in sunsets, chocolate, and even some habits contributing to health problems such as smoking.

Some drugs are used to stop smoking or help in weight loss. These drugs work by  suppressing or stopping  the pleasure center in our brain. Unfortunately these drugs are not specific enough to take the pleasure out of just one thing,  These drugs turn off the pleasure in all things.  However there is increasing evidence of a significant number of users becoming depressed and suicidal on the drugs.  So check with your doctor about any drugs you are taking to be sure you understand  the risks.
