Show Notes:

Does your primary care provider spend enough time with you?  Does he/she answer your phone call or email?  Do you feel happy with their availability?  Does he/she use preventive health care screening to detect illness early?

These are all important questions about your health and health care.  Today there are a number of studies that are starting to show that if you pay primary care providers more and require them to spend more time diagnosing and treating their patients, the total cost of health care will be reduced.  Reduced through early detection, fewer duplicate and unnecessary expenses and hospital visits are the goal.

It will be interesting to see how this works out.
