This week we are talking about The Most Popular Christmas Gift This Year.

According to a recent study by GfK Roper Consulting, the hottest Christmas gift this year will be the gift card – either a store care or Visa card. People will not be giving as many gifts but want one gift that counts.

Just be sure you are getting a gift card from a store not in financial trouble. If they fail before the gift card is used, the card can become worthless. That's why many will opt for the Visa gift card.

Who knows, in the future you may be able to have the gift card on your cell phone and use it directly from there. No more plastic. Maybe next year. For now get the plastic gift card.
