Many people who own cars that require high test gas to perform properly are switching to regular gas.  They are willing to put up with the reduces power and noise that results from using regular gas when high test is required.

Automobile manufactures are still producing cars that require high test gas.  Even some of the models that get the best mileage require high test gas.  Will they ever learn?

If you want to try this remember some engine damage is possible.  Some warranties are nullified by using gasoline other than premium.
