Exercising in the heat.
Drink plenty of fluids or you may dehydrate and collapse or worse.
Performance is reduced in the heat.
The skin is demanding a lot of blood to cool the body by sweating. That leaves less blood for the muscles. They start to use up their supply of sugar quicker that the muscles use for fuel.
Pour water over your head to cool off.
Not good because it will slow the evaporation process need to cool the body. This can be dangerous.
Can you acclimate to the heat?
Yes over time with daily exercise less intensive than usual but for longer times. This will take time.

Nice to live where it is virtually never hot except for one or two days a year. I like wearing sweats and warmy clothes.
